Hillmead Primary School is one of only eight schools to feature in a new Stephen Hawking's YouTube video about space exploration and the future of our planet. Click here to see the video which features a photo of some of our Gardening Club children who have been following Tim Peake's mission.
Why explore the universe? What is happening to our planet? What would a habitat on another planet look like? As part of the Principia Mission Space Diary project – supporting ESA Astronaut Tim Peake's mission to the International Space Station – Stephen Hawking asks some important questions about life on our planet, and life beyond.
In addition to the video appearance, the creators of the Principia Space Diary, who are behind the production of the above video, included Hillmead Gardening Club in their teacher notes for the new chapter 5 thanking the club for regularly sharing their updates on their Space Diary work.
